Waterlink - Water Audit

Waterlink

Recent Survey

A recent water audit survey resulted in the identification of some double reading of water consumption by the local water utility.

The local water utility installed a series of water meters within a private mains network, each serving private accomodation.

The main water meter that measured the total supply to the private estate was measured, mistakenly the new water meters were also read and billed - even though the water had already been measured on the main water meter!

We were able to quantify the volume of water that had been double counted and assisted our client in claiming a hefty rebate. Not for the inappropriate water billed but also the equivalent volume of sewage disposed!

Consumption Analysis

Where Waterlink have identified leaks and repaired them, we will often be asked to estimate the volume of water that was not returned to sewer - clients are potentially able rebates from the sewage service provider.

This graph could be indicating a leak that is getting progressively worse.

Remedial action needs to be taken!

The weekly cycle above indicates heavy water usage on the 4th weekend of the month.

A water audit can help you find out why.

Just as the auditing of your accounts on a regular basis is normal, perhaps you should consider a water consumption audit.

Not only do we discover leaks, errors in accounting, but also such problems as unexpected supplies to neighbouring properties that our clients have paid for.

Our clients have been able to save £millions due to our audit work.

Its not just the savings on water supply.

Also consider the equivalent volume for a 'non return to sewer' claim.
