Plasterboard Recycling

waste plasterboard recyclingWaterlink has access to a dedicated plasterboard recycling and gypsum recovery operation based in Kent and serving London and the South East of England.

The facility is expected to divert away from landfill an annual weight of between 20,000 and 40,000 tonnes.

The site is adjacent to a neighbouring plasterboard factory which is able to receive recovered gypsum material for remanufacturing into new plasterboard. This provides a convenient and environmentally responsible way of recycling used plasterboard into new product.
