Serco Local Government

Waterlink is the named sub-contractor to carry out water supply pipe separations and lead replacements for Canterbury City Council’s housing stock in conjunction with Serco’s Kitchen and Bathroom Replacement contract. Prior to a property receiving a new kitchen/bathroom Waterlink separate and replace pipe work as necessary, including putting in new points of entry.

This approach provides saving for the Council. They can ensure that any lead pipes are removed, the supply pipe is not leaking, each property has a separate service in the event it is sold and the point of entry for the supply into the property is convenient for the kitchen/bathroom refit.

Home Service is the biggest supplier of home emergency insurance in the UK .

Home Hotline handles the resulting claims.

Mouchel Parkman

A typical example of a contracting service provided by Waterlink was asked for by the support services consultant Mouchel Parkman.

In just 6 weeks from acceptance of tender, Waterlink had installed and commissioned an 800m new water mains supply (valued at £30k) for a specialist school in Kent, despite a difficult route and accommodating other contractors and utilities on site.
